About this place

We have 2 x 2 bedroomed cottages (self catering) on our 20 acre farmlet, located on the Southern Scenic Route, between Te Anau and Manapouri. Our accommodation is conveniently located to visit either Milford or Doubtful Sound and the Glowworm Caves, and are just a few minutes drive from the bustling township of Te Anau, where there are many restaurants and cafes. The Kepler track is only a short 6kms drive away. Luxmore Cottage has 1 queen bed & 2 singles. Titiroa Cottage has 2 queen beds. In the twin room in Luxmore Cottage there is space to place a rollaway bed for a third small child. The kitchen is fully self contained and has two hot plates, a microwave and a barbecue to cook on. Each cottage also has a washing machine. We are a true local family of Fiordland. Keen on the great outdoors with our 2 children. We have been working in Tourism for over 20 years, on the local walking tracks, Sounds & Milford Road so we can help you with your holiday in the area. We have plenty of friendly farm animals, and we do farm tours for our guests who would like to meet the animals.

Luxmore Cottage

Luxmore cottage sleeps four with 1 queen bed and 2 new king single beds with quality linen, electric blankets and spare blankets. Has a lovely large porch with wheelchair access. The porch is a great place to sit outside under cover and take in the views of Mt Luxmore and the Kepler Mountains above the farmland, or for star grazing late at night. The kitchen is well equipped, has a small fridge, microwave, cooking utensils, electric frying pan, stove top, kettle, tea and coffee provided. Large wet floor shower and toilet in the bathroom. Toiletries, towels and a hairdryer provided for our guests. All the mod-cons, Heat pump, Flat screen TV with Freeview TV, Bluetooth speaker located in the lounge area. Limited wi-fi but BBQ and great parking.
